Area Team Director Description

Summary
The Team Director offers a Commission Based, Independent Consultant opportunity. The Team Director will be the Lead Champion of Fun (COF) responsible directing the activities of the area team. This is intended to be a Part-time opportunity. As long as benchmarks are met, it is up to the Director to determine how much time and effort they wish to dedicate. She will build and manage all aspects of an area team within ABS umbrella. Agreements will be awarded for one year periods of time. Quarterly coaching meetings will occur to provide feedback.
Primary responsibilities
• Recruit, build, and maintain the area team (membership and COFs)
• Create and coordinate adventures for the team offering variety in activities, price points, and availability – research, plan, organize, negotiate, market, oversee, etc.
• Recruit, train, guide, and support COFs
• Oversee the development of team adventure calendar
• Ensure performance goals are set and met
• Represent the organization to the public
• Find and develop business sponsors
• Manage social media for team

Qualifications
• Organize to a T
• Advanced computer skills in Social Media (Facebook), Microsoft Office, Website Updates, Apps, a plus
• Strong Social Media Mastery a plus
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Proven leadership skills with ability to develop, lead, train, and motivate a successful team
• Makes informed business decisions
• Comfortable negating for better pricing and opportunities
• Detail oriented

Requirements
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Owns an up-to-date personal computer
• Personal PayPal account (in which to have funds transferred)
• Google Gmail account
• Smart phone
• The ability and memory space to download apps and programs to streamline your work processes. (examples: Slack, Dropbox, Scanner, Facebook, QR Scanner, and enough picture and video storage (or have a place in which to store), and other tools as needed)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to fund events until reimbursed (typically within one week of completed event)
